Bernade Leonidas is a young woman from Port-au-Prince, the capital of Haiti. He studied primary and secondary in Haiti. After that, he left the country to go to Sweden. There he studied university in the field of communication. For more than 17 years, he has been living in this country; but Haiti still remains in his soul. Bernade grew up with his grandmother and his older brother in the commune of Delmas. His dream is to participate in the development of his country as much as he can. He would like to see the country have a different image in the world. Bernade works in several organizations in Sweden. These organizations realize many projects in Haiti. The first book she writes is a book teaching many different strategies to start with school garden, this is her way to help children and people in her country ( Haiti ) how important agriculture is, and  to cultivate their own food.
