With our organisation’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies for dealing with this challenge. In many parts of Haiti farmers are dealing with dry land, most of them want to work but because of lack of water to water their land, farmers are unable to cultivate to make main need to feed themselves or to feed their families. Bernade Leonidas foundation with its partners present the irrigation system, an independent system that only using solar energy to power the complete irrigation system.The energy created in the solar panels pumps up groundwater into a water tank. The water is filtered through different filters. The water is then processed by cooling the system. The cooling system works with the help of solar energy. This provides an ideal temperature of the water for watering the plants. With this new technology farmers would be able to water their land and cultivate food of their land to make main need to feed their families.
